OUR SPECIALTIES
KYBELLA - FAT REDUCTION
No matter how much you diet or exercise, your double chin may not go away, and instead make you look older and heavier than you actually are. At your free consultation at our Meridian, ID location, you and your provider will customize a treatment plan for you and your desired chin profile.
What is Kybella®?
KYBELLA®, by Allergan, is an FDA-approved injection treatment that destroys fat cells under the chin, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal. In other words, Kybella ® is a double chin reduction procedure that eliminates the need for surgery.
What Can I Expect?
The Kybella® procedure will be performed by our highly trained cosmetic injector. A session will take less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Kybella® is not considered a painful procedure, but patients may choose to have a topical or local anesthetic prior to treatment. Each treatment involves injections under the chin that take only 15–20 minutes! The deoxycholic acid gradually breaks down fat cells over a few weeks.
Depending upon the severity of the fat, most patients will receive between 2 – 6 Kybella® treatments spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart. Kybella® is a series of fat-dissolving/chin sculpting injections that kill fat cells so they won’t come back, which prevents the need for repeat treatments. You can see dramatic results in the lift of your double chin at a fraction of the cost of surgery!
How Soon Will I See Results?
As with any cosmetic injection, we recommend that you wait a week or two before attending any major event, because Kybella® injections can cause some bruising and swelling.
Commitment is key with your Kybella® treatment. You may see an improvement from the very first appointment, but it’s important to remember to complete all recommended sessions so that your maximum result can be achieved. Chin sculpting with Kybella ® non-surgical injections can help you feel like your real self again!
FILLER - RESTYANE | JUVEDERM
What are fillers?
Are you thinking about a treatment for creases, fine lines or wrinkles? Injectable fillers like Restylane® and Juvéderm® are gels that contain hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body. As we age, we stop producing hyaluronic acid on our own and must replace it in order to diminish the signs of aging. Fillers are injected into the skin (e.g. cheeks, under eyes, nasolabial folds) to fill creases and folds, which reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Fillers are a safe, FDA-approved anti-aging treatment.
We offer the some of the best lip and cheek cosmetic fillers at a competitive price at our Meridian, ID location, including:
- Restylane®
- Restylane-L®
- Restylane® Defyne, Kysse, Lyft with Lidocaine, Refyne, and Restylane® Silk
- Juvéderm® XC and Ultra XC
- Juvéderm ® Volbella® XC, Vollure™ XC, and Juvéderm Voluma® XC
- Sculptra®
- Revanesse® Versa
The most popular filler treatments include:
- Lip enhancement injections
- Cheek fillers
- Lift jowls
- Reduce the appearance of sagging cheeks
- Create more volume in the apple of your cheeks
- Mid-face cheek hollow/contour filler
- Slim the face
- Give the cheeks a lift and the appearance of high cheekbones
- Enhancing the temples
- Smile lines (e.g. nasolabial folds)
- Frown lines (e.g. marionette lines)

How Long Do Fillers Last?
Short answer: 6-12 months, on average. The length of time your dermal filler treatment will last is very individual and depends on many factors, such as the structure of your skin, lifestyle, age, and the skill of the practitioner.
Experience indicates that periodic touch-ups and follow-ups on your dermal filler treatments will make them last longer. Most people choose to have another treatment within one year after the treatment of wrinkles and folds, and within 6 months after a lip enhancement. Without follow-up treatments, the filler will gradually dissolve until your skin looks like it did before your filler treatment.
What is the Filler Procedure?
Before the treatment, our highly-skilled practitioners take the time to understand your expectations, listen to your goals, and show you the benefits of enhancing your features and creating subtle facial contours for a natural-looking result.
Prior to treatment, the area will be cleaned, and you may be given a topical anesthetic to numb the area. Many filler products contain lidocaine, a mild anesthetic, which is intended to help minimize discomfort during and after your treatment. Your provider will then strategically inject a precise amount of filler beneath the skin. Some patients experience mild bruising and swelling, but these are temporary and should subside over the days following treatment.
How Long Until I See Results?
Our clients see immediate improvements in smile lines, laugh lines, and even the marionette lines, because there is more volume and lift in the cheeks and neck areas. Our premium dermal fillers lift the skin and smooth out flattened areas, giving you toned and balanced definition around the eyes, mid-face and lips. With regular treatments, you may even improve collagen production, which helps the body counter the signs of aging naturally.
At the Injection Studio, our master injectors specialize in advanced techniques and administer treatments with the utmost precision. We have many years of experience with each product, and we will provide you the best, longest-lasting filler treatment possible.
TOX - DYSPORT | BOTOX
What are the Benefits of Wrinkle Relaxers?
Wrinkles such as worry lines, laugh lines, necklines, crow’s feet, and neck bands are caused by muscles under the skin contracting as we make facial expressions. Wrinkle relaxers like Botox® and Dysport® temporarily weaken the muscles, reducing their ability to contract. No contractions mean no wrinkles and smoother, tighter, younger-looking skin.
What are Botox® and Dysport®?
Dysport® and BOTOX® are both forms of the purified botulinum toxin that are used in our wrinkle relaxer treatment injections. Each product has its own unique benefit, and we will work together to customize the perfect plan for your skin care needs.
What Areas Can Be Treated with Botox® and Dysport®?
At the Injection Studio in Meridian, ID, we can use Botox® or Dysport® on the face and neck to stop the first signs of wrinkles, lift the brow, flip the lip, tighten your neck line, turn your frown upside down, and smooth and tighten skin. The most common Botox® and Dysport® treatment areas are:
· Forehead (glabella & horizontal lines)
· Under & around the eyes
· Crow’s feet
· Lips (Botox® upper “lip flip”) & around the mouth, such as smile or smoker’s lines
· Jaw (for TMJ)
· Neck
· Botox® under arms (armpits) for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
· Botox® for migraines and tension headaches
· Chin
When Will I See Results and How Long Do They Last?
Our Boise-area clients typically see wrinkle relaxation results in 3 – 7 days. Each treatment lasts about 3 – 4 months. Clients who repeat the treatments every few months and follow our suggestions and recommendations typically see longer-lasting results. When used under the arms for hyperhidrosis, Botox ® can control sweating for up to 12 months.
Who Can Get Botox® and Dysport®?
Our wrinkle relaxer treatments do not discriminate. Botox® and Dysport® work well for men and women alike, and there is no age limit. The average age many people start getting Botox® and Dysport® at a med spa is 35. Wrinkle relaxers are our most popular treatment in our Meridian/Boise-based location!
Our premium-quality BOTOX® and Dysport® treatments are administered by our highly-skilled cosmetic injector and Registered Nurse Jenny Etchart at a highly competitive price (and at a fraction of the cost of cosmetic surgery). Thanks to advances in medical beauty procedures, our wrinkle relaxer treatments are done quickly, and you can resume normal activities as soon as you’re done.

SKIN TIGHT - FIBROBLAST SKIN TIGHT
What is Skin Tightening?
With a non-surgical skin tightening procedure, we can effectively tighten moderately loose, saggy skin on the face, neck, and body, helping patients improve their appearance and postpone the need for cosmetic surgery.
Plasma Pen Fibroblast Treatment in Meridian, ID
The Plasma Pen is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that targets a wide variety of skin conditions, such as wrinkles, loss of collagen, and loose, sagging skin on the face, neck, and body that have been traditionally treated with fillers or plastic surgery. As we age, the dermal layer of our skin thins, and we produce less collagen and lose elasticity. These factors contribute to the sagging and wrinkling of the skin.
How Does the Plasma Pen Work?
The plasma significantly tightens, lifts, resurfaces, and regenerates practically any area of the skin.
The Plasma Pen converts electrical energy into gaseous diatomic molecular nitrogen and transmits the energized gas in a non-contact way to the skin’s surface. This causes a micro-trauma to the skin’s epidermal (top) layer while simultaneously heating and disrupting the deeper dermal structure via thermal conduction. This treatment is also known as fibroblasting.
What Areas of the Body Can Be Treated with the Plasma Pen?
Fibroblasting produces excellent results for any area of the body, particularly the face and neck regions, including:
- Acne scars – improvement in the appearance of post-acne marks & scars
- Crow’s feet around eyes
- Forehead lines
- Jowl / jawline tightening
- Loose skin under the eyes
- Marionette lines – creases or folds that run vertically from the corners of the mouth down to the chin
- Nasolabial folds / smile lines – folds that run from the sides of your nose down to the edge of your mouth
- Saggy, loose neck skin (“turkey neck”)
- Smoker’s lines – vertical wrinkles also known as lipstick lines around the mouth
- Stretch marks
- Upper and lower eyelids – bags and hoods
How Long Will It Take to See Results?
Plasma Pen skin tightening results are impressive, but should not be proposed as an alternative to surgery in cases of moderate to severe skin laxity. Only surgery can achieve these kinds of results. You will typically see immediate tightening along with cumulative improvements in the appearance of saggy skin over the next three months. In some cases, it may require more than one session depending on the desired results. Results can last 2-3 years, on average.
Is the Plasma Pen Treatment Painful?
The Plasma Pen is mildly to moderately uncomfortable. Everyone’s pain level is different and some areas of the body are more sensitive than others. We offer numbing cream to help reduce the discomfort during treatment.
What are the Risks of the Plasma Pen Treatment?
The Plasma Pen is a relatively safe treatment, particularly when compared to more invasive cosmetic procedures. Risks include:
- Swelling & bruising
- Scabbing & crusting
- Skin discoloration
- Scarring
What Downtime Can I Expect After My Plasma Pen Treatment?
Downtime is very subjective, but there is downtime. Common side effects include:
- Redness, swelling and scabbing in the treatment area
- Average of 8 days of downtime for treatment of the face and neck areas
- Average of 10 to 14 days for treatment on the body, depending on the area being treated and the intensity of the treatment
- Swelling usually begins the day after your treatment, and peaks around day 3
- After day 3, swelling subsides and scabs form
- Scabs normally begin to fall off around day 6 or 7 for face and neck
Please be aware that the days indicated are simply guidelines for average healing time. Healing time and results may be negatively compromised by not following the aftercare protocol: no drinking alcohol, no smoking, and no picking/scrubbing. If your health is compromised in any way, this can also extend your healing time and negatively affect your results.
COLLAGEN - SCULPTURA | PDO THREADS
What are Collagen Stimulators?
After the age of 20, a person produces about 1% less collagen in the skin each year. As a result, the skin becomes thinner and more fragile with age. Wrinkle formation as a result of aging is inevitable, but we can help fight this collagen loss with treatments that stimulate collagen growth, leaving our skin with a youthful glow.
For those of you who are not ready to take the step into cosmetic fillers, this is a natural way to reduce the signs of aging. We are happy to offer the following three amazing treatments that stimulate collagen growth.
Skin Rejuvenation Treatment with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Platelets are the cells in the blood that help tissue to heal and stimulate new cell growth. When the PRP is injected into specific areas of the skin, it acts as a matrix that promotes your own collagen to grow and regenerate tissue as well as speed up the skin’s repair process. The PRP will help minimize fine lines and wrinkles, reduce enlarged pores, and help build collagen and elastin, which will help to tighten and firm the skin.
Sculptra® Aesthetic
Sculptra® Aesthetic treatment injections are radically different from traditional dermal fillers. It works by targeting the root cause of loss of volume—diminished collagen. As we age, we start to lose collagen and the skin starts to develop wrinkles and lines. Collagen is what keeps the skin looking young and full. When collagen is not replenished, as is the case in aging, the skin loses volume. The Sculptra® Aesthetic treatment on the face and body works by reversing the effects of aging by promoting collagen production.
Sculptra® Aesthetic works gradually and leads to a subtle yet noticeable improvement in skin volume. The full treatment includes three injection sessions over a few months. With each session, the active ingredient (poly-L-lactic acid) is injected in the skin which replaces lost collagen and also encourages natural collagen production for long-lasting, natural-looking results that last up to two years. Because its effects are gradual, and because skin is plumped by the body’s own natural ‘lifter,’ the results are matchless in terms of naturalness of appearance.
Sculptra’s® active ingredient poly-L-lactic acid is a biocompatible and biodegradable synthetic compound. Once injected, it is absorbed into the body without any reactions and starts to work within the deep dermis, fortifying and reinforcing the foundation of skin structure. A safe and stable compound, poly-L-lactic acid has numerous applications in medicine and has been used for many years.
PDO THREADS
Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are a special medical grade thread that is thinner than hair, made of protein. The FDA-approved PDO sutures are one of the safest materials that can be used in the body.
About 6 months after the procedure, the PDO threads will disappear through simple hydrolysis (they are absorbable). The lifted facial contours will remain for about 3-6 months more, due to the cellular rejuvenation effects. Your skin cells are stimulated to produce new collagen, and new blood vessels to improve skin microcirculation. At the same time, the PDO threads cause the fat tissue to contract, which produces a skin tightening, face-slimming effect.
The rejuvenative effects kick in after 1-2 months and you will notice better skin texture, as well as firmer and smoother skin. Depending on which technique is used, the results will vary from person to person.
About 9 months after the treatment, the threads will have dissolved, but the results will still continue for many more months. We recommend having another procedure 6-9 months after the first to allow for a long-lasting result of up to 2 years.
PRP - MICRONEEDLING
Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP)
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that can harness the ability to rejuvenate the skin, improve its texture and tone, and restore volume and firmness by amplifying the natural growth factors your body uses to heal tissue. It is also called the Vampire Facelift, blood facial procedure, plasma facelift, and the Dracula Facial.
What is Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP) Injection Therapy Treatment?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a 100% natural approach allowing the body’s own natural resource to support cellular regeneration and repair. PRP is a component of your own blood rich with growth factors that are used to accelerate healing in various areas of the body
The procedure begins with a simple blood draw. Then, using a proprietary technique, platelets are separated and concentrated. The plasma contains white blood cells and platelets, which are rich in growth factors. These growth factors are injected directly into the area needing rejuvenation or combined with micro-needling to get total skin rejuvenation.
Some of our most popular PRP treatments are:
- dark circles under the eyes
- face
- scalp for hair restoration
- vaginal rejuvenation
How Does PRP Work?
PRP injections stimulate collagen and elastin production, which thickens and tightens thinning skin, effectively smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. Because it boosts collagen, it’s also a great treatment for improving overall skin texture and tone. It’s particularly good for people who suffer from rosacea or acne.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is commonly used in the following procedures:
Micro-Needling & PRP in Boise & Meridian, ID
Skin micro-needling, sometimes called a micro-needle facial, can be performed in combination with platelet-rich-plasma therapy (PRP) for total skin rejuvenation. Micro-needling is a facial treatment that creates invisible micro-perforations into the epidermis and the top layer of the dermis. Your skin becomes firmer and regains its elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced, pores become finer, circulation is stimulated, and the overall condition of the skin improves. Micro-needling breaks down old scar tissue and stimulates cells to multiply, resulting in the formation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibers, as well as in new capillaries for an improved blood supply.
Micro-needling is commonly used for:
- Rosacea
- Active acne
- Hyperpigmentation
- Eyes
- Scalp
PRP for Hair Restoration Treatment for Men & Women in Boise, Eagle, ID
The plasma, rich in platelets, is injected directly into the scalp at the level of the hair follicles. PRP injections trigger natural hair growth and maintain it by increasing blood supply to the hair follicle and increasing the thickness of the hair shaft.
Patients will usually notice a decrease in hair shedding, followed by early regrowth and increased length of hair. The general consensus is that receiving treatments every three to six months on a long-term basis are optimal for continuing to stimulate the growth factors and stem cells that are associated with regrowth and stopping hair loss.
For best results, consistency is key. Treatments are typically performed once a month for the first 3-4 months, and then every 3-6 months thereafter, depending on the individual patient’s response and results. Following this protocol, anticipated PRP hair treatment results can first be seen within 2-3 months.
PRP for Vaginal Rejuvenation in Meridian, Boise, ID
Some people call this female or feminine rejuvenation, vagi rejuvenation, or women’s rejuvenation procedure. Using PRP in the vagina is a revolutionary, non-surgical treatment that uses a patient’s own blood platelets to activate growth factors that rejuvenate the female orgasm system, allowing more blood to flow to the organ. The results are:
- Enhanced sensitivity
- Dramatic improvement in sexual function
- Proven effective for treating urinary and stress incontinence
This vaginal rejuvenation procedure begins with a simple blood draw. Using a proprietary technique, the platelets are then separated and concentrated. The PRP that contains the growth factors extracted from your blood is then injected into an area near the clitoris and into the area of the upper vagina that is most important for sexual response. These areas are numbed with a local anesthetic cream before injection, and patients experience little or no discomfort during the procedure.
Some patients require only a single treatment to achieve optimal results. However, most patients will benefit most from a series of 4 treatments, spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
